Okay, well I have eventually decided that I need to try blogging.
Not sure what I'm going to blog about, but we'll just try it and see how I go. I'm not expecting to be very regular at this because story telling and essay writing have never been my forte (sp ?)
The thoughts and activities most prominent in my life are quilting, so I guess that is what I will focus on.
Am very excited to be part of a HUGE number of folk taking part in Bonnie Hunter's latest mystery quilt. The quilt name for this year is Celtic Soltice, in memory/honour of Bonnies trip to Ireland this year to the Irish Quilt Festival.
I have to admit that the prospect of an orange, green, blue quilt doesn't enthuse me too much, so I am opting for some more subdued colours.
My current choices are a dusty pink, dusty blue, olive green and gold. Not sure whether or not I'll be sticking with these fabrics yet, but here's a picture so long of some of my fabric options.
